First Timers
Skiing is what we do. At CentralSnowSports we not only strive to provide the right equipment and service (at the best prices!!) for your skill level, we are skiiers ourselves and understand not everyone is an expert.
Never been skiing before? It can be quite daunting! At Central Snowsports we pride ourselves on helping First Timers not only with equipment but also with information to make your vacation easier.
Our staff are trained to be able to recognize the needs of first timers, we want you to get the feeling we first got that kept us in the alps!
We stock all the essential items to help you start out. You can hire walking boots, goggles, parka and pants, helmets and equipment. Don’t forget to bring with you some sunscreen (very high UV), thermals or some clothes to wear as layers under your outerwear, sunglasses or goggles for everyone, good walking shoes and some not too thick socks in the correct size for your feet.
Come instore when you arrive and we can help guide you through the equipment requirements, lift and lesson locations and times, where to get lift tickets and where to get some good food and coffee. We live here so we can help with all of your questions.
